By combining beauty and culture on the 6th of September, Malan Breton showcased a diverse and energetic Spring 2015 collection at Lincoln center.

The inspiration behind Bretons’s collection was presented from the very beginning by two male and two female dancers. The dancers performed on the runway wearing traditional Asian garments which embraced the theme of the collection “A Journey To Taiwan: The Heart Of Asia.” Breton brought elements of traditional clothing from his past into this new collection. This made the collection feel very special as it was inspired by Breton’s hometown.

Using classic Taiwainese fabrics worked especially well for the menswear collection. In one men’s look Breton produced three quarter length pants with matching teal bow ties and completed the look with a gold bomber jacket. The traditional suits with the non-Traditional prints really captured Breton’s aim with the collection. By bringing back his traditional heritage and making it modern.
