Members of the Women’s Mafia all know that I am a big proponent of partying for a good cause! Not only are the events raising money for something that you believe in, but often there are well-cultivated crowds of like-minded individuals, fabulous gift bags, free drinks and often scrumptious passed hors’ doeuvres. There are two events coming up soon that activist-minded boys and girls, and partying aficionados, should definitely know about.

The Young Professionals Council for Choice (YPCC), of which I am very proud to be a co-chair, is hosting a “Mid-Summer Night’s Soiree” at Hudson Terrace on Wednesday July 8th from 7:30 – 11pm. These events are always fun and quite reasonable, especially as your $30 (online) ticket gets you a free drink, a great gift-bag a easy-as-pie entrance to Hudson Terrace. The YPCC is all about raising money for The National Institute for Reproductive Health through parties. It’s all that we do and we are quite good at it. The New York Post recently called us “A Sweet (Sexy) Charity.”
