FEBRUARY 2011: Alisha Trimble unveils her Fall 2011 Ready To Wear Collection during New York Fashion Week. A favorite of NYC Fashion Editorial Stylists & Style Bloggers, Ms. Trimble’s line is steadily gaining popularity for its upscale sophistication, and unique point of view.
Alisha Trimble is a fashion artist. She specializes in avant-garde women’s ready to wear, while exploring concepts & aesthetics in her seasonal presentations. Ms. Trimble’s designs have appeared in Nylon Japan, Revolver, California Apparel News, LA Weekly, San Francisco Chronicle, Time Out New York, Swoon, Social Life, and SPIN, as well as on NBC, FOX TV, & The Real Housewives of New York.
For Fall 2011, Alisha Trimble’s inspiration comes from studying animal senses and Lives of the Saints. “Experimenting with these concepts makes for sensory details, such as webbing, and silk-made fur. Stylistically the character traits of the saints come into some of the silhouettes,” says Alisha.
