Neon nail polish was all over the place at Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer 2011 runway show last fall, where models were wearing eye popping orange nails. Yes, that is the trend this season! Everything from neon orange and yellow, to tropical colors including tangerines, corals, greens, ocean blues, and my favorite: pink!
I must say I just love Essie’s latest collection, which includes the tropical colors that everybody should be rocking this season. My favorite one has to be super bossa nova, which is the most amazing fuchsia nail polish I’ve seen in a long time. I also love how these nail lacquers are not just named after a color, but they are named after the exact feeling that you immediately get when you see the color, and that just made me fall in love with it!
The colors of the season (shown above) are: Super Bossa Nova, Meet Me At Sunset, Absolutely Shore, Too Too Hot, Smooth Sailing and Braziliant.
