Alisha Trimble’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection entitled “Animal Saints” captivated an audience of elite editors, stylists and fashionistas last night at the Wix Lounge in Downtown Manhattan. For Fall 2011, Alisha Trimble’s inspiration came from studying animal senses and the Lives of the Saints.  “Experimenting with these concepts makes for sensory details, such as webbing, and silk-made fur.  Stylistically the character traits of the Saints come into some of the silhouettes,” says Alisha.

Accessories for Alisha Trimble’s Fall 2011 Show were custom-made in-house for a consistent high-fashion look. In addition to overseeing her small fashion studio in Nolita, Alisha also does production and special samples for jewelry designer Alyssa Norton, often featured in W Magazine, and international Vogue Editorials. “For this collection, we wanted to bring the inspiration of Animal Saints into the whole look, head to toe” says Alisha. Antlers, silk fur, webbing, gold and silver, as well as crowns that “reflect the divine light of the saints,”  graced the runway.

A favorite of NYC Fashion Editorial Stylists & Style Bloggers, Ms. Trimble’s line is steadily gaining popularity for its upscale sophistication, and unique point of view.
